Same Day Agra Tour By Train

Tajmahal is one of the most beautiful monuments made of white marble in all over the world. It was built by 5th Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife, as a symbol of love. If anyone travels India for any purpose, visiting the Taj Mahal is always on the top of the list... Even if he/she is travelling India for a short period of time.
So you can also book a same day tour by train/Car that will cover some of the most visiting places in one day. Due to this reason the Indian government has started a new train called the "Gatiman Express" departs from Nizamuddin railway station around 8.10 AM and reaches Agra around 9.40 AM. It runs six days in a week, but not on Friday as the gates of Taj Mahal are closed. In the evening, train departs from Agra around 5.40 PM and reaches Nizamuddin railway station at 7.30 PM.
Departure from Delhi to Agra by Train
At around 7:00 am our representative will report at your residing place to pick you up and will drop you off at the Nizamuddin railway station, so that you can board the Gatiman Express. It departs around 8.10 am and reaches Agra around 9.40 am. Your breakfast will be served in the train.
On arriving at Agra cantt railway station, you will be welcomed by our local representative and assist you to put your luggage in the car. Now our tour guide and driver will be with you to take care of you till the end of the tour.
Taj Mahal
Now you are proceeding towards the Taj Mahal, which is the main attraction of this city. If this city, Agra is known in the world, it is known only because of Tajmahal. Agra Fort
When you are fully immersed in the beauty of Taj Mahal, you will be taken to another Mughal site of wonders. "The Agra Fort", where the Mughals resided. It's a huge fort made of red sandstone. It is surrounded by two high walls and two wide moats are there all around the fort.
Lunch Break
After visiting two main monuments of Agra, you need more energy to proceed towards Fatehpur Sikri. So now it is the time for lunch. In Agra many reputed restaurants are there, where different type of cuisine is served viz: - Indian, Mughalai, Chinese, continental etc. All the reputed restaurants are hygienic and fully air-conditioned.
Fatehpur Sikri
After having the delicious lunch, you will be driven to Fatehpur Sikri, which used to be the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is around 45 kilometres away from Agra.
Now after visiting the monuments if you have some extra time to catch the train, you will be taken to the handicraft bazaars of Agra, where you can find souvenirs.
Around 5:30 PM you will be dropped at the railway station, where you'll board a train, which will depart at 5:40 PM. Your dinner will be served in the train. On reaching Delhi Railway station, our representative will receive you and drop you at the place where you are staying.
